Without change there is no innovation, creativity, or incentive for improvement. Those who initiate change will have a better opportunity to manage the change that is inevitable. Our future growth relies on competitiveness and innovation, skills and productivity. These in turn rely on the education of our people. Software innovation, like almost every other kind of innovation, requires the ability to collaborate and share ideas with other people, and to sit down and talk with customers and in this case our clients are our supported beneficiaries and get their feedback and understand their needs. We really involve youths, we happily work for them and with them. For good ideas and true innovation, you need human interaction, conflict, argument, debate. Changes call for innovation, and innovation leads to progress. There is only one thing stronger than all the armies of the world: and that is an idea whose time has come. Collaboration is important not just because it’s a better way to learn. The spirit of collaboration is penetrating every institution and all of our lives. So learning to collaborate is part of equipping yourself for effectiveness, problem solving, innovation and life-long learning in an ever-changing networked economy. If you look at history, innovation doesn’t come just from giving people incentives; it comes from creating environments where their ideas can connect. Innovation is the calling card of the future. Youth is such a wonderful thing. What a crime to waste it on children. Childhood shows the man, as morning shows the day. Bloom where you are planted. “Young people need models, not critics.” – John Wooden. Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at 20 or 80. Anyone who keeps learning stays young. I would so much like young people to have a sense of the gift that they are. There is a fountain of youth: it is your mind, your talents, the creativity you bring to your life and the lives of the people you love. When you learn to tap this source, you will truly have defeated age.
We have been refurbishing and equipping our resource center cum computer room with strong solar energy that can effectively run computers in order to curb idleness and hinder innate talents in our registered youths. Come August 2020 we are going to commence serious registered youths’ computer training in shifts. Having them at home for the next 5 months doing a lot of nothing will attract a lot of juvenile delinquency acts than currently experienced. This will be an ideal position to evangelize Gospel to them too, equipping them to suit the current global job market standards as well as nurturing their talents.
